The ManKind Project (MKP) is an international men’s non-profit network with communities in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany and other countries.
We empower men to their full potential, trusting that they will co-create the healthy solutions needed by society. We foster Loving Families, Strong Communities and Productive Workplaces in a sustainable environment.
The Mankind Project is a progressive men’s organization striving to be increasingly inclusive and affirming of cultural differences, including colour, class, sexual orientation, faith, age, ability, ethnicity, and nationality.
Our intention is two-fold:
- To enable men to live lives of integrity, accountability and connection to feeling.
- To be of service to the community at large, as individual men with a reinvigorated sense of compassion and personal responsibility and as communities of men who share a close-knit bond, working together to build a more open and trusting world.
Interaction with The Mankind Project (“MKP”) begins with The New Warrior Training Adventure, an experiential weekend “training adventure.” The weekend is followed by supportive “Primary Integration Groups”, formed from the weekend participants, which help integrate the men’s changes and new choices into their daily lives. In addition, there are numerous workshops offered throughout the year to further assist men’s personal development.
Since 1985, more than 43,000 men of many different races and nationalities have graduated from the New Warrior Training Adventure and many of these men have gone on to participate as volunteer staff on New Warrior Training Adventure weekends for the men who have followed them.
